The Dr. Deepak Patil Ayurvedic Medical College And Research center is well known institute situated near Borpadale phata,on Kolhapur-Ratnagiri Road in Panhala Dist: Kolhapur.

Our History

Sanjeevani Multipurpose Foundation's Dr. Deepak Patil Ayurvedic Medical College and Research Centre, Borpadale- established in 2016 in a rural, hilly region of Panhala, Kolhapur, the Ayurvedic Medical College embarked on a journey to promote traditional healing methodologies. Over the last 07 years, it has strived to blend ancient wisdom with modern medical practices, offering comprehensive education in Ayurveda. Through dedicated faculty and a commitment to excellence, the college has steadily grown, attracting students passionate about holistic health. With community engagement initiatives, research endeavors, and a focus on preserving indigenous knowledge, the institution has become a beacon of traditional medicine in the region, fostering a new generation of Ayurvedic practitioners poised to make a positive impact in healthcare..

ANNUAL REPORT 2023-24

The academic year 2023-24 has been a remarkable period of growth, achievement, and development for Dr. Deepak Patil Ayurvedic Medical College and Research Centre. The institution has made significant strides in various domains, including academics, infrastructure, social outreach, research, and extracurricular activities. The college is committed to the holistic development of students and institutional excellence. Here are the key highlights of the year:

1. Academic Excellence: 100% Result in University Final Year Exam:
A matter of immense pride and prestige for the institute, our pioneer BAMS batch (2019 admission) achieved a 100% result in the final year university examination. This outstanding achievement stands as a testament to the dedication of our students and faculty, reflecting the institute's commitment to academic excellence and rigorous training.

2. Inauguration of Panchabhautik OPD Unit:
The inauguration of the Panchabhautik OPD unit, a unique and holistic healthcare approach based on the five fundamental elements, was conducted by Vaidya Shailesh Mali. The unit is now fully operational within the hospital premises, offering specialized Ayurvedic treatment and diagnostic services to patients, contributing to the practical learning experience of students.

3. Construction of New Boys Hostel Building:
To provide better accommodation facilities for students, the construction of a new boys' hostel commenced within the campus. The facility aims to offer comfortable living conditions with modern amenities, ensuring a conducive environment for academic and personal growth.

4. New Teaching Pharmacy Unit:
A new teaching pharmacy unit is under construction within the college premises to facilitate hands-on practical training for students. This pharmacy will serve as a learning hub where students will gain practical exposure to Ayurvedic medicine preparation, formulation, and dispensing techniques.

5. Launch of Sanjeevani Health Card Yojana:
The college launched the Sanjeevani Health Card Yojana, a social initiative aimed at providing free health checkups and treatment to underprivileged individuals residing in hilly and remote areas. This initiative reinforces our commitment to community welfare and healthcare accessibility.

6. MoU with Blood Bank and Pathology Lab:
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed with leading blood banks and pathology laboratories to enhance students' practical knowledge and exposure in Rog Nidan (diagnostics). This collaboration provides students with valuable hands-on training and insights into modern diagnostic techniques.

7. Social Activities by Sanjivani Foundation:
Through our dedicated social wing, Sanjivani Foundation, numerous impactful social initiatives were undertaken, including:
- Free health checkup camps for rural communities
- Distribution of academic kits to underprivileged students
- Plantation drives and plant donations to local Gram Panchayats
- Women empowerment programs promoting skill development and entrepreneurship opportunities for women.

8. New Mobile Clinic Units for Rural Outreach:
The college added two fully equipped mobile clinic units to its fleet. These ambulances provide free health checkups and medicine distribution in remote and underserved areas, bringing essential healthcare services to those in need.

9. Health Awareness Camps in Radhanagari Taluka:
Under the Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister’s Health Awareness Program, the college successfully conducted free health checkup camps across various villages in Radhanagari Taluka, ensuring healthcare services reach the grassroots level.

10. Sports Achievements at MUHS Zonal Competitions:
Our students displayed an excellent performance at the MUHS Nashik University Zonal Sports Competitions, with remarkable achievements by:
Miss Deepti Sapkal, Miss Shital Pawar, Mr. Aditya Patil, Mr. Sumit Patil, and Miss Vaishnavi Ghodke, who secured top ranks, bringing accolades to the institution.

11. Participation in the 10th World Ayurveda Congress:
A delegation from the college actively participated in the prestigious 10th World Ayurveda Congress in Uttarakhand. Faculty member Prof. Dr. Prasad Mote presented an insightful poster, highlighting the research contributions of the institution.

12. Desh Ka Prakriti Parikshan Abhiyan:
The entire college actively participated in the Desh Ka Prakriti Parikshan Abhiyan, where more than 90,000 citizens were screened for health conditions by the college’s medical teams, contributing significantly to public health awareness.

13. Establishment of the Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC):
The college inaugurated an Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) to nurture and enhance entrepreneurial skills among students, conducting various sensitization programs and workshops to encourage innovation in Ayurveda.

14. Participation in HACKATHON 2024:
Three student teams from the college actively participated in the HACKATHON 2024, organized by the All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), New Delhi, showcasing their innovative ideas and technical skills in Ayurveda.

15. Educational North India Study Tours:
Two batches of 2nd BAMS professional students embarked on educational study tours to North India, gaining exposure to different cultural and medicinal practices across the region.

16. National Conference Participation – Hridayanveshan 2024:
The college delegation represented the institution at the National Conference 'Hridayanveshan 2024' in Goa, presenting valuable research and engaging in discussions with eminent Ayurvedic scholars.

17. NSS Activities:
The NSS unit of the college actively conducted:
- Cleanliness and plantation drives
- Free health checkups and surveys
- Awareness campaigns for rural communities.

18. Observance of Important Days:
The college commemorated important days such as:
World Sanskrit Day, International Yoga Day, Charak Jayanti, Blood Cancer Awareness Day, and World Environment Day.

19. Awareness Campaigns:
Various awareness campaigns were conducted, including:
- Anti-addiction campaign
- Organ donation awareness
- Anti-ragging programs
- Traffic rules awareness initiatives.

20. Expert Guest Lectures:
Eminent experts delivered lectures on:
Cardiology, radiology, oncology, and various motivational and ethical topics.

21. Cultural Celebrations:
Festivals like Ganesh Jayanti, Navratri Garba, Dandiya, and Diwali were celebrated with enthusiasm and participation from students and faculty.

22. Diwali Products Preparation:
To instill entrepreneurial skills, students actively participated in the preparation of Abhyang oil and Ubtan products, combining practical learning with traditional Ayurvedic knowledge.

23. Transitional Curriculum Programs:
Special orientation programs, including Shishyopanayan Sanskar, were conducted for newly admitted first-year BAMS students.

24. Cultural and Sports Meets:
Annual cultural and sports events were organized, culminating in prize distribution ceremonies to recognize student achievements.

25. Observance of National Ayurveda Day:
National Ayurveda Day, Unani Day, and Siddha Day were celebrated to highlight traditional healthcare systems and their importance in modern times.

26. Research and Publications by Faculty Members:
The faculty members of Dr. Deepak Patil Ayurvedic Medical College and Research Centre have made significant contributions to the field of Ayurveda through national and international research article publications in renowned ISSN journals. Additionally, several faculty members have successfully authored and published ISBN-registered books, further strengthening the academic and research profile of the institution.

These publications not only contribute to the body of Ayurvedic knowledge but also enhance the visibility and credibility of the institution in the global academic community. The commitment of the faculty towards research and publication reflects the institute’s focus on continuous learning, innovation, and scholarly excellence.

Hello Everyone,
My dear students and their parents,
It gives me great pleasure to interact with you as the Founder-President of Sanjeevani Multipurpose Foundation, Borpadale.
Just a few years ago, the dream of setting up a Nursing and Medical education institute in a rural, hilly area like Borpadale is a dream come true today. A pleasant feeling is being created in the mind today. Sanjeevani Ayurvedic Hospital was established with the objective of opening the doors of medical education to the talented students of the rural areas and to provide poor people with the best quality medical services at very low cost. In a short period of time, Sanjeevani Hospital has created a place of affection in the public mind due to its quality medical services.
As the next phase of this, Dr. Deepak Patil Ayurvedic Medical College and Research Center was established in the year 2019.
The medical journey of the first batch began with full admissions in the first year itself. In the year 2021, college shifted in the new, spacious and well-equipped Premises. The college is characterized by highly experienced, intelligent, expert faculty, non-teaching staff and visionary administrative leadership. Well-equipped classrooms, departments, all necessary instruments and equipments, modern equipment are providing students with high-quality education and satisfaction . Students are getting in-depth knowledge of all subjects due to well scheduled theory, practicals, clinics and well-established hospital. In this beautiful educational environment, our first batch is in final year and just about to become Doctors. We feel so proud seeing this precious, joyful moment along with the parents of the students. I heartily congratulate all our admitted students and their proud parents, wish them all the best. Sanjivani multipurpose foundation's Dr. Deepak Patil Ayurvedic Medical Collage Nebapur( Borpadale Phata) Tal-Panhala Dist:- Kolhapur, established in rural area, in 2019, serving the human kind with love & affection, is indeed a proud privilege. Hon. Chairman Dr. Deepak Patil & Hon. Secretary Dr. Swati Patil played pivotal Role in the establishment of our College with an aim of providing medical facilities to rural area and medical education to lower class students. Since incorporation of College along with attached Sanjivani hospital, we are serving rural people with advanced medical facilities by keeping moral values at no cost basis. Now our College has steadily progressing towards creating an outstanding position for itself to meet the global standards. We strive to impart knowledge of Ayurveda to our students with scientific approach. We arrange various FDPs, guest lectures, seminars, workshops,etc. like programms to upgrade the knowledge of teachers & students as regular communication with experts & scholars is the very foundation of a sound academic set-up. Curricular & co-curricular activities are meticulously included in the academic calendar to achieve personality development of students to accept any challenge in future life We have highly qualified, experienced and enthusiastic staff which is the backbone of our medical excellence & academic activities. We have formed various academic & administrative committees for smooth conduction of academic, research & extracurricular activities. We are conducting various research projects in our college and our teaching staff have published many research articles In different Ayurvedic fields. All this task become possible only due to unconditional support of our Management & its enormous inspiration to us. In next academic year, we are advancing to increase intake capacity from 60 to 100 seats for BAMS course and to initiate M.D./M.S courses in different specialities. I am sure that, our college will carve a niche in the Ayurvedic field for itself at the national and international levels.
